About Rising Sunflower Foundation
Every veteran living through war deserves access to psychological support, stability, and a path toward recovery.
Rising Sunflower Foundation supports veterans in Ukraine affected by frontline exposure, displacement, and loss through trauma-informed care that helps process stress, rebuild identity, and restore wellbeing.
Our mission
Rising Sunflower Foundation exists to deliver immediate psychological support to veterans in Ukraine who are living with the ongoing impacts of war. We focus on care that helps veterans feel grounded, supported, and able to begin processing trauma with dignity and respect.
Our vision
We believe recovery should mean more than survival. Our vision is that veterans affected by conflict can regain emotional resilience, reconnect with purpose, and access the long-term support needed to rebuild their lives and reintegrate into civilian communities.
What we do
We fund trauma-informed counseling, psychological first aid, peer support programs, and ongoing mental health care for veterans affected by combat exposure, injury, displacement, and loss.
Our support addresses immediate psychological needs while also helping create a sustainable path toward long-term recovery.
How we work
We direct funding toward trusted, locally informed initiatives so support can be timely, culturally grounded, and effective. The goal is simple: ensure donations translate into real, accessible psychological care for veterans who need it now.
Our story
Rising Sunflower Foundation was built on the understanding that war leaves invisible wounds that persist long after the battlefield is left behind. Veterans carry the psychological weight of combat, loss, and reintegration challenges, often without adequate support.
Our work brings focus to these unseen impacts, ensuring that contributions directly fund counseling, crisis support, and meaningful recovery pathways for veterans in Ukraine.
Why it matters
Early and ongoing psychological support can reduce long-term trauma, strengthen resilience, and help veterans rebuild their lives, relationships, and sense of purpose.
This fundraiser exists to close the gap between service and support, ensuring more veterans can access the care they need while it still has the greatest impact.
